From Humble Beginnings

Pastor Darayl R. Taylor lived his childhood in Houston Texas. He joined the U.S. Navy and retired after 18 years as a deep Sea Diver It was early in his naval career in Long Beach, California That he gave his life to Jesus. Pastor Taylor married Diane Fenderson in the late 1970’s whom lived her childhood in Orange Park, Florida. Darayl and Diane have three son’s Darayl II, Derick & David, Three Daughters-in love Tosha & Jen, Allie and three grandchildren

Darayl was assigned to diving unit’s in Pearl Harbor Hawaii, in the early 1980’s. It was there he and his family joined, The City of Refuge Christian Church Hawaii. He worked as a Minister, and Diane work with the Children & In-touch Ministry, until 1994 When God called upon them to pioneer, a Church. The City of Refuge Christian Church was born In October 1994

Pastor Taylor and his wife have weathered the storms that have come over the years. Darayl & Diane have stood the test of time under God’s anointing. They have ministered to Thousands of people strengthened them through teachings of God’s truth, for building spiritual hope in families and financial stability.

His faithful love endures forever.
2Has the LORD redeemed you? Then speak out!
Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.
3For he has gathered the exiles from many lands,
from east and west,
from north and south.

5Hungry and thirsty,
they nearly died.
6 LORD, help! they cried in their trouble,
and he rescued them from their distress.
